Music Progress & Remaining Need
Last week, Erin Rose and Orlando Palmer recorded the opening song to Then Sings My Soul.
It’s hard to describe just how surreal it was for me to be in the recording studio with Erin & Orlando, with all the flashing imagery of the varying lives and countries set to the live soundtrack these two souls were making. This journey has been more expansive — sprawling more years than I had realized when we first started — but the Lord has been in each new curve and shift of terrain, and he’s been beyond faithful to provide the pieces, the people, the connection and the provision needed to keep traveling.
The film is now in the post-production stage during which Orlando is composing the score. We have gotten the chance to hear large portions of what he’s been working on and we can easily say that the music he is creating is giving a movement and unity to the soul of the film that it needed!
I am so excited to share that soon our journey with the making of this film will be complete, and it will go on to live a life of its own. Our job has been to be vessels through which God creates what he wants it to be, and I feel a lot like a very pregnant mother, ready to do the work of labor, ready to help this piece emerge into the world and grow within its own body, living the life it is meant to.
We are thankful for your believing in this film. Our goal release date is April 2019. Please share this latest update with all who you know might be interested, and to help us raise the remaining funds needed to compensate the talented and genuine artists who have partnered with us in this final post-production stage. Donations can be made here: https://fundly.com/then-sings-my-soul-overseas-film-final-post-production We currently have a remaining need of $1250 to raise by February 15th. †
