Partnering w/ missions organizations & creating a film

Current Needs:
This trip and film project has been made possible all along the way with support from the body of Christ.
Now in the post-production stage of the film, we have been working a little bit at a time as we have been able. Anticipating it to be around 45 minutes in total length and working with 8+ hours of interviews, it is a long process!
In mid-August 2018, we set aside a full week to dedicate to working as hard as possible to move this film toward completion.
Now in the final phases of post-production, we are looking to collaborate with a couple of artists — Dan McCullum as colorist and Orlando Palmer as music composer — to bring together the final elements that go into creating a beautiful film. Funds raised though this campaign will help compensate the two of them for their artistic contributions. Our funding goal is October 1, 2018.

Past Needs:
We remain incredibly thankful for all who supported us on our journey overseas.
Our sources of financial provision were:
• The organizations we are staying with providing for living expenses in exchange for video services.
• Savings from our business income (Wild Bridge Films & Simple Sparrow Art) during the time of preparation for the trip.
• One-time and monthly donation support.
In addition to providing the resources to allow us to be in these four countries to create the short film that we pray will encourage the global body of Christ, contributions helped fund our work with four missions organizations:
• The Timothy Initiative / Medical Discipleship Ministry (Nairobi, Kenya)
• Haitian Christian Mission (Fonds Parisien, Haiti)
• Conexión Mosaico (Mexico City, Mexico)
• Harsha Ministries (Bangalore, India)
We are Derrick and Christy Collins, the parents of two sons, River and August. We thrive off of partnering with people to create things that are meaningful to them and life-giving to all. Our desire with Wild Bridge Travels is toimmerse ourselves in four
Christian communities of a particular country and
culture very different from our own for two months each. We hope in some small way to join Christ’s work of building bridges among his people by creating a film showcasing a handful of honest, inspiring human
portraits. The film is currently in the post-production stage.
