The Communion of Saints
Today I am thankful for the enormous body we are a part of, wrapped up in the breadth of geography and the depth of history.
For those who have gone before us, the church triumphant, from whom we have received such treasure.
For the congregations Christy and I have been a part of, brought up in, served together with.
Word of Life.
Grace Fellowship.
The Groves.
Make12.
Bloom.
And for the congregations we will soon join for short durations in various countries, to receive from and to give to.
The same Spirit is found in them all.
Where two or three or four thousand are gathered.
In sanctuaries and basements and homes and auditoriums.
The Kingdom expands. †
